MTS: Maple Trading System v.s Mesos Trading Service
Autor duststar
By Maple Trading System (MTS), I was referring to the recently launched MTS in MapleSEA (See v0.83 patch notes). MTS allow player to sell in-game items for A-cash in a safe manner. Of course, this service is not free. One will still need to pay a “listing fee” of 1,000 A-cash to list your item for sale (There is a discount of 50% off for listing fee currently). As of now in Bootes, the rate of value of selling item in mesos to A-cash is roughly about 9 million mesos per Singapore Dollar. For example, Genesis Mastery Book 30 is currently worth 900 million in Free Market and 100,000 A-cash in MTS. Basically, one can buy Genesis Mastery Book 30 using 100,000 A-cash and re-sell it in Free Market for 900 million mesos.
Then, Mesos Trading Service (MTS) refers to the illegitimate (and yes, unsafe) way for selling mesoes to get A-cash or real world currency in Singapore Dollars (SGD) or Malaysia Ringgit (MYR). As of now in Bootes, the rate of mesos to currency which illegal sellers are offering ranges from 5 million mesos per SGD to 10 million mesos per SGD. On top of that, they even abosrb the trading tax and give additional bonus mesos between 200 to 500 million for bulk purchases of 1 billion mesos and/or above.
Thus, what is the relationship between these 2 forms of MTS? Real world currency is involved. Certainly, for players who wanted to get mesos in a fast way and are willing to pay real world currency to do so, will certainly pick one of these options. Now which MTS is better? In terms of “value for money”, we can all agreed that Mesos Trading Service is better. In terms of security, Maple Trading System is better; One does not need to worry about seller running away after getting the money (Less bugs which Asiasoft must resolve.). So, what is your choice?
