How to make your own Japanese green tea ice-cream
Autor duststar
Do you like Japanese green tea ice-cream, such as those from uzumaki?
Well. This may not be as good, but it’s simple to made and can enjoy conveniently from home.
Ingredients required (For 2 persons):
1 x “Green Tea Ice” (Can get from NTUC FairPrice’s Japanese Food Corner), about S$2.70
1 x Raw Egg Yolk, about S$0.20
150ml of carton-packed milk, about S$0.40
Instructions:
First, prepare 150ml of milk. In this case, I had prepared 300ml of milk, because I’m going to use 2 sachets of “Green Tea Ice”.
Next, is to prepare the egg yolk. Again, in this case, I had prepared 2 x egg yolk.
Now, we have to mix the egg yolks and the milk together, stir them until the mixture become smooth and creamy.
Add in the “Green Tea Ice”, and stir more until it turns green and creamy!
Finally, you can just place this completed mixture into the freezer, or transfer it to any used ice-cream container before placing it into the freezer for 3 hours. (If you place it in the freezer for more than 3 hours, It is advisable to let it defrost a bit if not it will be too hard.)
And we present to you … the Japanese green tea ice-cream!
With courtesy from my girlfriend and I, she made the ice-cream while I snap the photos.
Hope you enjoy the ice-cream as much as we do! Itadakimasu~!
